Welcome to our latest issue. During this difficult time, we hope you are staying safe. The ongoing news of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and how it is affecting everyone is a huge concern for us all. Understandably, people are worried about the general economic outlook and their own personal finances.

Our primary focus remains you and your financial objectives, and as always it is important that you stay focused on your longer-term goals. At Fairstone, our operational agility and IT capability enabled us to quickly transition to 100% remote working which was in place from the last week in March and, market effects to one side, it very much is business as usual at Fairstone.

We continue to be committed to bringing you the very best service, especially at a time when you may have concerns – and we are always here to talk.

You may find that you have some extra downtime at the moment, so it would be prudent to take the time to do some financial housekeeping to make sure that you have everything in the best shape possible.

While you may have financial plans in place, it is often worth reviewing them as circumstances may have changed, your priorities shifted or there may be unnoticed gaps that can be bridged.

Our team of advisers would be happy to help discuss any queries or concerns you may have, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

In this issue of Intelligent Wealth, we look at a range of issues that are pertinent to the current climate including COVID-19 and the effect on retirement planning and investments.

During these challenging times, there has also been an increase in the number of fraudulent scams, we highlight what you should be on the lookout for.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, some people may fear that they will not be able to make it financially through this crisis. Inside this issue, we also take a look at a number of areas to consider during this difficult time.

Everyone in Fairstone is collectively working remotely to ensure we remain in a good position to deliver continued progress and excellent client service throughout 2020 and beyond. If you require any further assistance, please contact us.
