Professional Partners becomes latest Fairstone full acquisition

Fairstone, one of the UK’s largest Chartered Financial Planning firms, today announces that it has fully acquired Glasgow-based IFA, Professional Partners, in a deal which completes the purchase of the company following a period within Fairstone’s downstream buy out (DBO) programme. This is the fourth outright acquisition the company has made in 2017 and marks a huge step forward in its ambitious growth strategy.

Fairstone Group, one of the UK’s largest Chartered Financial Planning firms, today announces the full acquisition of Hase Osborne Asset Management Limited. Based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, Hase Osborne Asset Management offers wealth management and holistic financial planning solutions for high net worth individuals.

This is the fourth successful transition in 2017 for a downstream buy out (“DBO”) partner being fully acquired by Fairstone and brings total revenue of £2.1m to the Fairstone Group with funds under management of approximately £250m million.

We are delighted to announce that we have signed up two new advisory firms to our downstream buy out (DBO) programme. Chartermarque and Hammett and Petch Financial Planning have joined Fairstone, bolstering our national footprint and adding a total of £200m funds under management.

Collectively, the deals bring seven new advisers and a team of support staff to the wider business as well as combined revenues of £1.4m. Fairstone now services 41,000 private clients with over £7bn in investment and pension assets.

Fast growing Fairstone Group, one of the UK’s largest Chartered Financial Planning firms, today announces the completion of the next stage of its build plan with a series of deals that sit within its proprietary Downstream Buy Out programme.  Collectively, the deals bring a total of 19 new advisers to the Fairstone Group, revenue of over £3.25 million and additional funds under advice of approximately £290 million.  This takes Fairstone’s total number of advisers across the UK to over 300, servicing 40,000 private clients with over £7bn of assets.

Fairstone Group, one of the UK’s largest Chartered Financial Planning firms announces that it has signed up Mortgage Find to its downstream buyout programme. 

Based in North Kent and South East London, Mortgage Find offers the full range of mortgage solutions, including residential mortgages, protection and buy to let mortgages.

With over 8,000 clients, the Mortgage Find deal brings revenue of over £1.5m to the Fairstone Group.  Under the terms of the deal, following an integration period, Fairstone plans to fully acquire the Mortgage Find business.

Based in the South East of England and with a strong presence in the North West, PWMS offers holistic financial planning services, specialising in investments and pensions.

Fairstone Group, one of the UK’s largest Chartered Financial Planning firms announces that it has signed up Campbell Harrison to its downstream buyout programme. 

Based in Sheffield, Campbell Harrison offers the full range of financial planning services, specialising in pensions and investments.

With almost 1,500 clients, the Campbell Harrison deal brings revenue of over £1m to the Fairstone Group and £140m of funds under management.  Under the terms of the deal, following an integration period, Fairstone plans to fully acquire the Campbell Harrison business.

Fairstone Group, one of the UK’s largest Chartered Financial Planning firms, announces the appointment of Simon Bourke as Group Development Manager, with immediate effect.  He will be based in Fairstone’s City office, with responsibility for identifying and engaging with suitable businesses nationally but with a focus on the South East, Midlands and South West.  He will work with selected companies to explore their growth and future sale aspirations in order to create high value acquisition opportunities for Fairstone Group.
