Steven brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. He has a strong track record of driving organisational growth, most recently as Group CEO of Aldermore Bank, where he led the business through a period of substantial expansion, almost doubling its size after joining in May 2021. During this time, Aldermore was recognised as one of the Sunday Times Top 10 Places to Work.
Before joining Aldermore, Steven held a number of senior leadership roles in the UK and internationally, including serving as Group CEO at C. Hoare & Co, the UK’s oldest privately owned bank. He also spent many years at Barclays, where he led several major businesses, including Barclaycard Business, Personal Banking for the UK & Europe, and Business Banking in the UK.
