I have been an adviser for over 20 years, working with a number of multinational companies. My education includes a B.A. honours degree along with my financial services qualifications. Since my teens, I’ve been driven to absorb knowledge about financial markets, and when I realised I could combine that enthusiasm with helping clients achieve long-term peace of mind and reach their goals, I knew financial advice was the perfect career for me.
I’m at home in all areas of planning, with a particular focus on investments, pensions, and inheritance tax. I bring extensive experience from working in the high net worth division at HSBC, as well as time spent as a mortgage adviser. I enjoy assisting all kinds of clients, regardless of their needs or level of financial sophistication.
When setting out plans, I pride myself on truly understanding what matters most to my clients – both at the early stages of the advice process and as their circumstances evolve. I believe this is key to building long-standing relationships and creating an environment of trust. It’s very important to me that clients fully understand what I’m communicating, and I check this regularly, knowing that in a world full of financial jargon, everyone has a different level of knowledge.
Outside of work, I spend my time following most sports, swimming, enjoying the occasional trip to the races, and ferrying my two children around.
