What is Mineral?
Mineral is Fairstone’s remote advice service for people with less complex financial planning needs. Aimed at clients who value a digitally based service but who still want to deal with a professional financial adviser, Mineral offers a low-cost solution to those looking to grow their wealth.
Remote only engagement
We keep costs low by only offering digital support via the telephone or video calls. This also means that we can keep consultations sharp and focussed, ensuring we don’t take up too much of your time.
Defined advice scope
We see protection as the cornerstone of any wealth plan so this is the starting point for all Mineral clients. As your wealth grows, we will expand your plan to include your additional planning needs.
Access to Fairstone’s Core and Partner ranges
As a Fairstone client, Mineral users have access to our Core and Partner ranges. Our main core range has held a Defaqto 5-star rating for the last six years.
Simple charging
To keep things simple, we charge a single fee to cover, custody, portfolio management and advice. This means you know up front what your costs will be and how this fits within your wealth plan.
How much does it cost?
Mineral makes use of Fairstone’s leading investment management capability. Both the Fairstone Core and Partner ranges are available via Mineral on a simple single fee to cover custody, portfolio management and advice.
Pricing is at a level which is lower than the conventional cost of an investment platform and discretionary model portfolio service to support access for all.

Mineral was created as an addition to our existing usage of conventional open architecture platforms which will continue to be the core of our business.
