Epsom-based Grayside Financial Services, led by firm principal Mike Seddon, has been advising clients for over 50 years before becoming part of Fairstone in 2024. With a strong reputation for trusted, independent financial advice, the team recognised the importance of future-proofing their business in an evolving regulatory environment by partnering with a leading firm of Chartered financial planners.
Similarly, Mantle Financial Planning, which had been based in Surrey for over 20 years, joined Fairstone in February 2023. The firm elected to join to address the increasing challenges faced by medium-sized, directly authorised IFAs operating under FCA regulation. By aligning with Fairstone, an independent, Chartered, national firm, Mantle ensured it could continue focusing on delivering high-quality advice while benefiting from enhanced regulatory support and wider business expertise.
